The South-Monaghan Pastoral Area encompasses the parishes of:
Carrickmacross, Donaghmoyne, Inniskeen, Killanny and Magheracloone
VIGIL MASSES:

Social Services are running a bus to Blackrock
Social Services are running a bus to Blackrock on the 15th August. Anyone interested in going please leave your name in the Day Care Centre Cloughvalley or Kitty Hand. Bus will leave centre at 10.30 and return at 6.30. The centre will be closed for the first two weeks in August.

The Fr Noel Conlon Charity Trust wishes to thank everyone who took part in the Annual Walk in Inniskeen on Sunday 10th June . 5,000 Euro was raised and will be divided equally between Ballybay Cancer Society and Merchants Quay ( helping homeless). A special thanks to Conlon’s Food Hall for providing the refreshments and to all who helped
Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes
We give thanks to God for the success of our 2018 Pilgrimage to the shrine of Mary our Mother at Lourdes. Thanks to all who made it so successful. Just to let you know that next years pilgrimage will be from 5th-10th July 2019, a slight change to the usual dates.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary( 15th August.)
There will be a 10am morning and 7.30pm Evening Mass. The Assumption of Mary honours the fullness of blessedness that was her destiny , the glorification of her immaculate soul and virginal body that completely confirmed her to the risen Christ.
Carrickmacross 7th Annual Procession in honour of Our Lady of Fatima
Sunday 12th August , led by Stedfast Shoe Brass Band. Assemble at Bully Acre at 3 O’clock. Refreshments in Valley Lodge afterwards. Every one welcome.
