Year Of Mercy

The Jubilee Year of Mercy begins on 8th December 2015. Pope Francis will open the Holy Door of St. Peter’s in Rome. All around the world, Doors of Mercy will be opened in each Diocese on Sunday 13th December 2015. On that day Bishop MacDaid will open the door of St. Macartan’s Cathedral as a special Door of Mercy for the Diocese of Clogher. The ceremony will take place at 3.30pm, and will include the celebration of the Sunday Eucharist. It is hoped that there will be representation from across the Diocese at this historical event. All are invited and will be most welcome.
