We are once again celebrating the Mission Month of October
Mission Month gives us all the opportunity to reflect on our baptismal call to bring Christ to others, which is a privilege in itself. The gift we have been given, we are asked to give.
Our gift to the world is the joy of the Gospel and our Irish missionaries continue to bring the Good News to people throughout the world.
World Missions Ireland, the working title of the four Pontifical mission societies, organises the Mission Sunday collection in all Churches nationwide.
Mission Sunday falls on the 23rd October. Our theme is ‘Every Christian is a Missionary’ . We can all do our part in an open, joyful and generous way . For further information on WMI or to make a donation please visit www.wmi.ie
